Jan Kuciak era un
giovane giornalista la cui scomparsa è stata tanto più tragica perché ci ha
privato dei molti anni di grande lavoro che avrebbe ancora fatto. Quello che lo
ha ucciso, tuttavia, è molto antico: è il legame tra leader corrotti e crimine
organizzato. Questo è un morbo contro il quale dobbiamo ergerci e combattere.

Jan Kuciak was a young journalist
whose death is all the more tragic because we have been deprived of the many
years of great work he would have done. What killed him however is very old:
the nexus of corrupt leaders and organized crime. This is a disease we must stand
up to and fight. Jan was quietly doing that. Quietly but relentlessly. We must
have that same quiet resolve.
